Taipei AI compute operator Konst raises $30M Series B led by ADATA Technology
The company announced the round on October 9. The other backers come from memory and storage, electronics manufacturing, energy, semiconductors and thermal management. Konst did not say what it is valued at, how much it has raised in total or how large a stake ADATA took. Konstra AI runs projects from choosing the site and building power, cooling and environmental systems through tuning GPU clusters, sign-off and ongoing maintenance. Horizon AI's (k) ATP Token platform gives enterprises one key to every approved model, with quota limits and audit logs. The Token Factory strategy is meant to connect computing infrastructure, GPU cloud access and enterprise AI usage management. Chairman Ben Chang said the goal is to move AI past proof of concept and into daily operations, so compute stops being a one-time project cost. Konst presents its three-part structure as a sign that Taiwan's hardware supply chain can move up from producing computing power to delivering it. For AI builders, this is another source of GPU capacity outside the hyperscalers, backed by component makers. Per-second billing fits workloads that come in bursts. The governance layer suggests enterprise buyers in Asia want spending controls sold together with compute, and application vendors may be expected to offer the same.
