UpSmith raises $10M Series A led by SemperVirens for AI agents that run the back office of home-services contractors
Dallas-based UpSmith raised a $10M Series A led by SemperVirens, with Hannah Grey Ventures, Asymmetric Capital Partners, CIV, Synetro Group, the Tim Tebow-anchored WaterStone Impact Fund, Sandwith Ventures, Deason Capital Services and OpenGov's Zachary Bookman. Its AI agents handle follow-up, booking, estimates and revenue recovery for more than 200 home-services operators; customers cite a 34% drop in cancellations and $147K of new revenue in three months. Funds go to engineering, distribution, an inbound AI voice agent and a unified customer timeline. Trades businesses are turning into a durable vertical for agents because the ROI shows up in booked jobs within weeks.
