WhiteLab Genomics raises €23.2M Series B led by AVP to design delivery vehicles for genomic medicines with AI
Paris-based WhiteLab Genomics raised a €23.2M (about $26M) Series B led by AVP, with new investors Yaday Health and Blast Club and existing backers Omnes Capital and Debiopharm Innovation Fund, bringing total funding to about $37M. Its ALFRED platform designs viral and non-viral delivery vehicles and programmable genetic payloads, and the company has shown AI-designed AAV capsids that cross the blood-brain barrier; it has roughly 15 revenue-generating partnerships including Sanofi and Cytiva. The money expands in-vivo validation beyond AAVs, grows the Boston hub and explores Japan and South Korea. It is a partnership-first model for AI drug design rather than running its own clinical pipeline.
