Shipped: Quantum Computing Refresher — From Qubits to Quantum Algorithms
An open-source, code-first quantum computing refresher designed for students, educators, researchers, and developers seeking a practical understanding of quantum computation.
The educational material progresses from mathematical foundations—including complex numbers, linear algebra, matrices, eigenvalues, and vector spaces—to quantum states, qubits, superposition, entanglement, quantum gates, and measurement.
Using Python, Google Cirq, and interactive Jupyter notebooks, learners explore quantum circuit construction, Bloch sphere representations, Bell states, Hadamard and CNOT gates, and introductory quantum algorithms, including Shor's factoring algorithm.
The refresher also introduces hybrid quantum-classical computing by examining how quantum circuits can be integrated with traditional neural networks for machine learning applications.
Designed as a hands-on educational reference, the project connects quantum computing theory with executable programming examples, making complex concepts more accessible to learners interested in quantum computing, quantum AI, and future cybersecurity applications.
