where do you draw the line between AI autonomy and human approval?
Hi everyone, I’m Philippe, CEO of Klirline Inc.
I’m building digital tools to help small businesses find prospects, organize their work, and grow their online presence. My current focus is KlirProspect, which helps organize business prospects and follow-up opportunities.
I’m also exploring how AI agents could support administrative, marketing, and customer follow-up tasks, with human approval for important actions.
What’s working for me is using AI-assisted development to turn ideas into working prototypes and improve them through iteration. My current challenge is deciding where useful automation should stop and human review should begin.
For those running agents in real business workflows: what is one task you let an agent complete independently, and one you always review?
I’d appreciate concrete examples, especially from small teams. Happy to share what I learn as I build.

A concrete example from what I’m exploring with Klirline: an agent could organize prospect information and draft a follow-up message, while I review it before anything is sent.
I’d like to automate more of the preparation while keeping control over client communication.
Has anyone here moved from reviewing every draft to letting an agent send certain messages? What checks made you comfortable taking that step?
Lets connect i have a project that goes with the same objectives
One task I let an agent complete independently:
Drafting first versions of internal reports, meeting summaries, or status updates from raw notes/data. I just give it the source material and let it produce a clean draft.
One task I always review:
Anything that goes outside the company (client emails, proposals, public posts, or financial/legal statements). I never let an agent send or publish those without checking.
Thanks, Sammy! That’s close to the approach I’m exploring with Klirline: agents prepare the work, with human review before anything reaches a client or gets published. I’d be happy to connect. What are you building, and which business workflow are you focusing on first? For KlirProspect, I’m exploring how agents could organize prospect information and prepare follow-up drafts for approval. I’d be interested to hear where our projects overlap.
