Plantvoice sells a toothpick-sized biosensor that is inserted into a plant stem to analyze sap in real time. Data is sent over LoRaWAN to a cloud AI platform that combines it with weather and soil data. The platform alerts growers to water, nutrient and environmental stress so they can cut water, fertilizer and pesticide use. Its customers are farms, vineyards, orchards and nurseries, including Salvi Group, Rivoira and Zespri. It operates in several European countries, South Africa and South Korea, with a pilot in Angola. The company was founded in 2023 and has about 20 staff. It closed a €500K round in 2025 with La Gemma Venture, Creazione Impresa and Salvi Family Holding, and public databases report roughly $540K raised in total.
