Beijing robotics software startup LivSyn Robotics raises Series A of at least RMB 100 million
The round, about $14 million or more at current exchange rates, was announced October 8 and reported by PEdaily and TechNode. The investors are unnamed financial backers, Suwen Electric Energy (a listed company) and an embodied AI strategic investor that was not identified. No lead investor or valuation was disclosed. LivSyn builds RUDA, short for Robotics Unified Device Architecture, a layer that connects different robot designs to AI models and agents. Its PhiAgent engine turns videos of human demonstrations into training data and motion trajectories. RoboAgent carries out tasks and feeds the results back into the system. The company says the stack is already used in industrial work: inserting and removing optical modules, assembling batteries and inspecting electronics. For builders, software that works across many robot designs is becoming its own investment category. A company that owns the layer letting skills move between robots could capture value no matter which hardware wins, and the field is getting crowded in China.
