Chariot Claims raises $10M Series A from Silverton Partners for AI consumer claims platform
Mike Dodd, general partner at Silverton Partners, led the round. Indicator Ventures, Lightbank, Neon Fund, ZVC, Rosecliff Venture Partners, Alumni Ventures, FJ Labs, Graph Ventures, Vermilion Ventures and angels also participated. The New York company did not disclose a valuation. It plans to put the money into its AI capabilities and operations, and into defending itself against retaliation from the corporations it pursues. Chariot's pitch is that only about four percent of consumers harmed by privacy violations, hidden fees or false advertising ever file a claim, so misconduct is cheaper than compliance. Its platform combines AI with partner law firms to file claims at scale. The team has more than doubled this year, adding people from AI labs, Rocket Money, Rippling and Twitch. For builders, this is a consumer-side legal automation model where AI lowers the cost of each claim enough to make small harms worth pursuing. It also shows early-stage investors backing AI plus services structures.
