ZoomInfo acquires DoubleO.ai to run multi-agent go-to-market workflows on its B2B data
ZoomInfo announced on September 30 that it has bought DoubleO.ai, an orchestration platform for coordinating multiple AI agents on sales and marketing work. No price was given. The startup's agents already run workflows at Fortune 500 companies, such as tracking champions who change jobs and turning closed deals into lookalike prospect lists with tailored outreach. ZoomInfo paired the deal with a new Agent Teams product. Founders Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh previously started Ignition in 2021, a go-to-market operations platform later acquired by Klue, before launching DoubleO.ai in 2024 to solve agents that lost context or behaved inconsistently between runs. ZoomInfo will combine that orchestration layer with its database of more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts. Data incumbents are buying agent infrastructure rather than building it, betting that proprietary context plus reliable orchestration beats standalone agent tools. Startups building horizontal agent frameworks for a vertical function should expect this kind of exit path, and pressure on pricing from bundled offerings.
