About Beta Boom

Overview

Beta Boom is a pre-seed and seed fund that leads investments in tenacious, original founders solving complex problems in enterprise, healthcare, cybersecurity, and future of work. We love solutions that automate complicated workflows with agentic AI and simplify them with great user experience design. We also gravitate towards founders based outside Silicon Valley and bring unique experiences and perspectives, along with an unstoppable drive. For our part, we lead almost exclusively with big checks and high conviction. Rather than a spray-and-pray investment approach, we bet on a concentrated portfolio, so each of our portfolio companies can get unparalleled support on their journey rather than feeling like a number. Our weekly 1-hour-long collaboration sessions with founders are legendary, and our founder references speak for themselves. We lead pre-seed rounds for startups building solutions in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, and digital health. We are often the first check or even the only check in a pre-seed round. We have tailored post-investment support via one-on-one weekly collaboration sessions with our portfolio companies. Investments are considered via an open-application process: betaboom.com/apply/. All submissions within the mandate are reviewed and receive responses. Investment criteria here: betaboom.com/investment-criteria/ Per Crunchbase, Beta Boom has made 31 investments, 23 as lead investor across 29 portfolio companies, with 2 exits.
