ChatGPT moves every tier to GPT-6 and adds Intelligent UI, answers built from live interactive components
OpenAI trained GPT-6 to answer with charts, forms, buttons, maps and small tools such as calculators, choosing the format for each question. The interface comes from a library of native components that can stream. A compiler renders the interface piece by piece while the model is still writing. The model can also start answering while it keeps reasoning. On questions that need web search, GPT-6 Instant begins replying 44% sooner than GPT-5.6 Instant. The change covers only the Chat tab: the models behind Work and Codex stay the same. GPT-6 first reached paying customers last month. This rollout brings it to the more than 1.2 billion people who use ChatGPT each week. Enterprise access depends on admin settings. For founders, this raises the bar for chat products. Users will start expecting generated interfaces instead of walls of text. Thin wrappers that only render text, such as simple calculators or planners, now compete with features built into the default assistant.
