IrisGo for Solopreneurs: AI workflow automation: show it once, let it run
The beta runs on Windows 11 (64-bit) and Apple Silicon Macs and costs nothing for now. Watch & Learn records a single run of a task. The company's example is filing one expense receipt: IrisGo logs the steps and saves them as a workflow it can repeat. The solopreneur package adds a Daily Brief, Email Triage and a Radar feed that flags items needing review. The app only sees data and workflows the user approves. The startup closed a $2.8 million seed round led by AI Fund, and Nvidia and Google are also investors. Co-founder Jeffrey Lai is a former Apple engineer who worked on the Chinese-language version of Siri. His original pitch was aimed at white-collar knowledge workers. IrisGo is also opening the product to third-party skill integrations. For AI builders, the shift toward solopreneurs looks like a bet on users with no IT department to approve an agent that watches their desktop. Recording a task once is easier than writing prompts, but competition among agents is crowded. Two things will decide how this goes: whether recorded workflows keep working when app interfaces change, and whether free beta users start paying.
