Pomerado: Turn any website into an API; Faster & reliable browser use
Pomerado was founded in 2026 by Alan Ma and Akshay Manglik and is part of Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch. The team has two employees in San Francisco. A user or agent describes a task, the system asks a few clarifying questions, and it then produces an integration that Pomerado hosts, permissions, tests and maintains. The core "integration minting harness" is open source under the MIT license. It can run locally, where generated integrations are themselves local MCP servers that use Playwright and Chromium. A hosted option also exists. Per the site, trying it requires no account: a keyless MCP endpoint works with Claude Code and Codex. An account is needed only to build a tool for a new site or to log in to a website. Target sites include consumer travel and shopping, legacy healthcare, finance and government portals, and internal CRMs and ERPs. The pitch is that deterministic tools beat browser agents on speed and reliability. Browser-use vendors and OpenAPI-to-MCP converters cover adjacent ground, but the converters assume an API already exists. For founders building agents, the dependence on brittle browser automation is a real cost and failure source. A maintained layer for sites without APIs could cut latency and error rates. The open-source core also lowers lock-in risk. The open question is how well it holds up when sites change or add bot challenges.
