SpaceX reports $7.6 billion in Super Intelligence revenue for its third quarter

Revenue at the Super Intelligence segment nearly tripled from the prior quarter, and SpaceX reported its first operating profit as a public company. Fortune attributes the growth to computing leases, a Cursor acquisition, Grok, and reported deals with Anthropic and Google. The segment rents compute and data center capacity to outside model developers, and the reported lessees include Anthropic, Google, Grok and X. That mix puts a launch and connectivity company in the business of supplying AI infrastructure to other labs. For builders, this shows compute capacity is becoming a revenue line for public companies, and frontier labs are renting capacity from suppliers outside the traditional cloud providers as their demand keeps climbing. Teams planning capacity should watch these arrangements for pricing and availability.
