ChatGPT gets a visual transformation, powered by GPT-6
Welcome back, Superhuman. OpenAI is pulling the paywall off GPT-6, rolling the model out to every ChatGPT user, and making every chat more interactive. But the lab isn’t just feeling generous: Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5.5 and new Haiku 5.5 have ramped up the competitive pressure.
Today: Detecting AI slop just got a whole lot easier, learn how to audit spreadsheet formulas for errors with Claude for Google Workspace, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.

Watch how ChatGPT’s new “intelligent” user interface works. Source: OpenAI.
1. ChatGPT gets GPT-6 and a more visual, interactive user interface: OpenAI is rolling out GPT-6, its most capable model, to all ChatGPT users after limiting it to paid plans. The upgrade comes with a redesigned interface that answers prompts visually, using graphics, charts, clickable buttons, and interactive tools that are built right inside the conversation. See how it works.
2. Google releases an AI detection tool, plus a game generator: Google’s SynthID Detector makes it easy to tell when something was created with AI by scanning for imperceptible watermarks in images, video, and audio. One catch: it only works on media created by Google, OpenAI, Nvidia, Kakao, and (soon) Apple. The company also released Playground, a tool that lets you create custom video games without coding.
3. SpaceXAI turns Grok Bot into a model router: Grok Bot will now send each prompt to whichever model is best suited for that task, with CEO Elon Musk highlighting Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, and Suno as available options. Meanwhile, parent company SpaceX is looking to raise $40B to buy more Nvidia chips, but some investors are hesitant to extend financing after reportedly receiving simplistic, picture-heavy investment materials.

TUTORIAL
How to audit spreadsheet formulas for errors with Claude for Google Workspace
Photo: Sefa Aydin
Open your Google Sheet and launch Claude for Google Workspace from the sidebar.
Tell Claude what the spreadsheet is for and which tabs or totals matter most.
Ask it to check for broken formulas, hard-coded values, missing formulas, inconsistent ranges, and totals that don’t reconcile.
Sample Prompt: “Audit this spreadsheet for formula errors and inconsistencies. Flag broken references, hard-coded values, missing formulas, inconsistent logic, copied formulas that look wrong, and totals that don’t reconcile. List each issue by sheet and cell, explain why it may be wrong, and suggest the safest fix without changing anything yet.”
Review Claude’s findings. Ask it to separate likely errors from cells that simply need human review.
Approve the confirmed fixes and ask Claude to update only those cells.
Run the audit again to confirm the corrected formulas and key totals now reconcile.
FROM THE FRONTIER
“Hybrid intelligence” took center stage at Microsoft’s first laptop-focused event in two years
Made with Midjourney
What’s hybrid intelligence? It describes AI that runs either on your device or in the cloud, depending on the task. Smaller tasks stay local on your device, while bigger tasks are sent to stronger cloud-based computers.
This concept was the centerpiece of Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra event, where CEO Satya Nadella laid out a vision to turn every Windows computer into a place where agents work on your behalf. Here's what to know:
Microsoft’s new laptop is built for local AI and 3D graphics: The Surface Laptop Ultra, powered by a Nvidia RTX Spark Superchip, can run agents, generate assets, and automate repetitive tasks, all on the device.
Windows Search and Copilot can take action for you: Type basic commands like “dim my screen” and Windows Search will get it done. Or, use Copilot as your on-device assistant to take action across the computer while tapping into local context.
New safeguards keep agents away from sensitive files:Microsoft Execution Containers let you wall off agents in a designated area, limiting which files and networks they can access.
