An AI CFO for early-stage startups, built on the side in Pune

Hi everyone, I'm Arkaprava Ghosh, a consultant at Infosys based in Pune. On the side, I'm building an AI CFO that helps early-stage startups manage cash flow, forecast runway, and make smarter financial decisions. I'm a developer by background, and my stack is Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, LangGraph, Hermes and Vercel.

I'm still early, so I'm not going to pretend I have traction numbers to share. Right now I'm figuring out how to make an AI agent's financial guidance something a founder can actually trust. I also keep a small Python project on GitHub called minidb, a database that grows step by step from a key-value store into a distributed document store, which is how I like to learn.

What I'd love from this community: an intro to a founder or finance lead at an early-stage startup who would be willing to talk through how they track cash and runway today.

Welcome to Lounge, Arkaprava. Trust in financial guidance probably hinges on whether every number traces back to a ledger or bank line, with the LLM only explaining and never calculating. Are you planning to have LangGraph run deterministic forecast code, and how will you show founders the assumptions behind a runway estimate?
