EduSync: AI attendance for schools and colleges, built alongside a TCS job

Hey everyone! I'm Saksham, a software developer from India, currently working at TCS while pursuing my passion for building products and taking on freelance software development projects part-time.

I'm a Computer Science and Engineering student at Lovely Professional University, and I enjoy turning ideas into practical software solutions. I build AI-powered applications and full-stack web applications, and I've built up a growing portfolio of projects on GitHub (@Saks34).

My current project is EduSync, a smart attendance management system designed for schools and colleges. It includes QR-code-based check-ins, automated timetable generation, real-time monitoring, and live analytics. I'm working on taking it beyond a project and exploring how it can be used by real educational institutions.

Alongside my job and EduSync, I do freelance development, helping turn business ideas into working software. My toolkit includes AI coding assistants and tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, and Google AI Studio, along with technologies like Supabase and Vercel.

I'm here to connect with fellow founders and builders, exchange ideas, learn from others' experiences, and explore opportunities to collaborate on interesting products.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Welcome to Lounge, Saksham. QR check-ins in a classroom make me think about proxy attendance, since a student can just send the code to a friend. Are you handling that with rotating codes, geofencing, or something else? And which buyer are you starting with, schools or colleges?
