I'm Tahsin, an independent programmer based in New York. My bio says "AI/ML minus vibe code, web dev minus design, data science minus data, programmer minus pro," which is a fair summary of how I work: I like building things end to end and understanding every piece.
My recent projects are on GitHub. I built
- iPhone4Cast: a full-stack iPhone price predictor (Python, Flask, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, scikit-learn)
- 1RepMatch: a model that predicts one powerlifting max from the other two lifts.

Welcome to Lounge, Tahsin. The 1RepMatch idea is neat since squat, bench and deadlift maxes are correlated but vary a lot by lifter build and leverages. Did you find a simple regression held up, or did you need features like bodyweight or sex to cut the error?
