Open-source automation for industrial systems, from Catswords in Korea
I'm Namhyeon Go, lead developer at Catswords Research, a small AI startup in South Korea working on natural language processing, computer vision and open-source tools for industrial and commercial use. My best-known project is WelsonJS, a JavaScript platform for industrial automation on Windows. It's listed on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and has over 500 GitHub stars. I also maintain YAWW, a Windows WebView project, and tools for Azure AI Inference applications. Day to day I work with Grok, ChatGPT, Codex and GitHub Copilot.
Right now I'm looking at how to bring the LLM ecosystem into industrial and e-commerce settings, where some of my open-source projects are already used, including by live broadcasting companies.
What I'd love from this community: feedback or introductions from anyone applying LLMs to industrial automation or Windows-based systems. I'd be glad to compare notes.

Welcome to Lounge, Namhyeon. WelsonJS running on Windows in industrial settings makes me curious about the LLM side: where would a model sit, generating automation scripts offline or deciding at runtime, and how do you handle latency and failure safety on the factory floor?
