Vereport: AI-native compliance for alternative investment funds
I'm Bipin Krishnan, founder and CTO of Vereport, based in India. We're building AI native compliance software for alternate investment funds. My day to day stack is ChatGPT, Claude Code and vLLM, and I'm hands-on with the engineering.
Outside of work, I write about CUDA, Triton and scaling LLMs, mostly short explainers on things like GPU programming and activation checkpointing. I'm still early in sharing Vereport's story publicly, so I'd rather not overstate where we are. I'm here to learn from people who are building and funding AI products in regulated, high-stakes domains.
If you've built AI products for finance or compliance, or you know fund managers who deal with compliance work, I'd really appreciate an intro or a conversation. Happy to compare notes on self-hosting models with vLLM too.

Welcome to Lounge, Bipin. Using vLLM for compliance work suggests data residency or confidentiality is driving self-hosting over API models. For fund managers, which matters more in the buying conversation: where the data lives, or being able to audit how each answer was produced?
