Voxnov: AI receptionists for service businesses in Duluth

Hi everyone, I'm Slaidel Hernandez, founder of Voxnov in Duluth. We build an AI Concierge for service businesses that answers calls, handles website chats, captures leads, books appointments, and follows up 24/7.

I build with Claude, ChatGPT, and ElevenLabs for voice, with Supabase for the backend and Lovable and Replit for getting interfaces in front of people quickly. I'm still early and figuring out which parts of the call-to-booking workflow owners care about most, so I'm learning as I go.

I'd love an introduction to someone who runs or advises a service business with a lot of inbound calls. Their honest take on where an AI receptionist would fall short would help me more right now than any feature idea.

Asking owners where an AI receptionist would fall short, instead of asking for feature ideas, is the right call this early. After a few of those talks, will you pick one trade in Duluth, like plumbing or HVAC, and go deep there first?

From the marketing side of service businesses: owners rarely know which calls they are missing or where those callers came from. Many of their best leads come from the Google Business Profile and local search, often after hours, and a missed call there usually goes straight to the next result. If Voxnov tagged each call and chat by source (Google profile, website, ads) and showed "booked after hours" as its own number, owners would see the money you saved them, not just call logs. Where it can fall short: emergencies that need a human in seconds, price questions the owner never wants quoted by a bot, and regular customers who expect to reach the same person. A clear "hand off to human" rule for those three would build trust fast.
