Meta's Muse Spark co-authors six math papers; five solve open problems
Meta says Muse Spark 1.1 and 1.2, running in Thinking Mode, co-authored six mathematics papers with human researchers, five of them settling previously open problems including an ellipsoid-fitting question and a classification of solvable evolution algebras. For builders the signal is less the math than the workflow: long-horizon reasoning runs, checked by humans, producing publishable artifacts. If your product has a hard, verifiable core, this is the shape of the collaboration that is starting to work.
