The prompt
Prepare me for a 30-minute discovery call with prospect. We sell product. 1. Research summary: 3 things worth knowing about them, and the hypothesis of their main pain. 2. Agenda for the first minute (to set the frame). 3. 12 questions in order, grouped: situation, pain, impact (money and time), decision process, timing, alternatives. Mark the 5 that matter most if time runs short. 4. Red flags that mean this is not a fit. 5. How to close the call with a concrete next step. Questions must be open-ended and specific to them; no "what keeps you up at night". Before you answer, check your draft against every instruction above and fix anything that misses.
Why it works
- Orders questions from easy to deep.
- Marks the must-ask questions if time runs short.
- Defines disqualifiers up front.
