Javier Lorenzo Díaz is a Research Scientist at NielsenIQ in Madrid, working on data, software engineering and AI. Before that, Javier was a researcher at the INVETT Research Group at the University of Alcalá, where he studied how to predict whether pedestrians will cross the street, for intelligent vehicles. He is a lead author of CAPformer, a transformer model for pedestrian crossing prediction published in the journal Sensors in 2021.
