LendingPoint
AI-driven US fintech offering unsecured personal loans ($1K–$36.5K) to fair- and near-prime consumers, plus point-of-sale financing for merchants.
LendingPoint, founded in 2014, runs an AI-driven platform for originating and servicing loans. Its underwriting looks at employment history and earning potential, not just credit scores, to price unsecured personal loans for fair-credit consumers in about 42 US states. Loans are funded by partner banks FinWise Bank and Coastal Community Bank or by LendingPoint itself as a licensed lender, and its Merchant Solutions product offers buy now, pay later financing to e-commerce and point-of-sale partners. In November 2025 it announced a new capital raise from existing and new investors to fund growth in 2026, and in August 2026 it named Mark Freeman as CEO. Third-party estimates put total funding at about $1.9B (mostly debt facilities) and annual revenue at $49M–$250M.
