Ziroom
Ziroom (自如) runs a Chinese residential rental platform and app. It offers branded, managed long-term rentals to tenants and property-management services to landlords.
Ziroom is a housing-rental and home-services company founded in Beijing in October 2011. It is a property-tech company, not mainly an AI company. It leases homes from owners, then renovates, manages and rents them out through its app. Its products include shared and whole-unit rentals, the Ziroom Apartment and Ziroom Inn lines, and services for second-hand home sales, renovation and housekeeping. It raised about CNY 4B in a Warburg Pincus-led round in January 2018, then $500M from General Atlantic and others in June 2019 at a reported $4.5B valuation, followed by a reported $500M from SoftBank Vision Fund in March 2020. Earlier reports say it managed over 600,000 properties and hosted over 1.4 million tenants. It launched an international rental business in May 2024.
