Zips Car Wash
ZIPS Car Wash is not an AI company. It runs express drive-through car washes that clean the outside of vehicles and offer free self-serve vacuums, and it earns money from single washes ($12–$30) and monthly Unlimited Wash Club memberships. It was founded in rural Arkansas in 2004, acquired by Atlantic Street Capital in 2020, and bought Jet Brite in 2022. When it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb 5, 2025, it had about 260 locations, roughly $303M in revenue, about 625,000 members, and $653.9M in funded debt. It exited bankruptcy on Apr 30, 2025, with its lenders as owners and Pete Nani as CEO, and in 2026 it runs 185+ locations in 19 states.
