Anthropic adds manager reports tying Claude token spend to team output

The reports combine internal analytics with employee surveys, so a manager can pick a date range and see what a team produced, what it cost and where its workflows broke down. The tool also suggests ways to improve results. Separately, TechCrunch reports that financials Anthropic shared with investors this week showed an operating profit in the second quarter and 900% net revenue retention. Enterprise buyers have pressed AI vendors to prove a return on token spending, and reporting on Fortune 500 gains has been mixed. Anthropic is answering that demand with its own measurement layer. A Jellyfish survey of 276,000 customers, cited by TechCrunch, found Claude Code and other Anthropic-based tools responsible for nearly a third of proposed code changes submitted for review. For founders, usage reporting is becoming part of the product itself. Anyone shipping AI features should plan team-level cost and output tracking early, since buyers will ask for it during procurement.
