Hi, I'm Lance, recruiting across media and emerging tech from Toronto

Hi everyone, I'm Lance LeFort, founder of LeFort Talent Group, an executive search and talent acquisition firm in Toronto. We recruit across media, digital entertainment, distribution, emerging tech and startups, from senior executives and product managers to Unreal and Python developers and VFX artists. Lately we've been looking more at the needs of data centers and anything getting impacted by AI workflows, or the areas that need to get updated with AI workflows.
On the AI side, I'm a practitioner so far. My workflow runs on a mixed bag of tools right now. I'm testing and tweaking to find the right mix for business development outreach and candidate outreach when we are seeking people for open roles. I've tried Clay, Apollo.io for sourcing and Instantly for outreach, with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok for drafting and research. I'm still figuring out which steps save time in screening without losing the judgment that makes a placement work.
What I'd love: a tool recommendation. If you've used an AI tool that genuinely improved how you source or screen technical talent, I'd like to hear what it is and where it fell short. ALSO, anything to do with business development outreach. I've tried cold emails, Linkedin campaigns and i'm testing several agentic AI platforms.
