About ZEPZ
Zepz is the holding company for WorldRemit and Sendwave. Its mobile apps let people send money across borders, with funds arriving as a bank deposit, cash pickup, mobile money or airtime top-up. The company began as WorldRemit Group, bought Sendwave for about $500M in February 2021 and renamed itself Zepz in August 2021, when it raised a $292M Series E at a $5B valuation. Since then it has raised a $267M Series F (October 2024) and $165M in growth financing led by HSBC (April 2025). In 2025 it launched the stablecoin-based Sendwave Wallet and partnered with Fireblocks on stablecoin remittances.
