About Didac Lee
Didac Lee (Dídac Lee i Hsing) was born in Figueres, Spain, in 1974. He left computer engineering studies at 21 to start his first company. In 1998 he founded Scubastore.com, the origin of the online retail group TradeInn.
He is founder and CEO of Inspirit, a holding company for technology businesses. He has founded or co-founded other companies including Fhios and Inesdi, a joint venture with Planeta. In a talk at ESADE he said he had created 15 companies over 19 years, nine of them still active.
In 2015 he co-founded Galdana Ventures, where he is Managing Partner. The Royal European Academy of Doctors describes it as a fund-of-funds investing in Silicon Valley, China and Europe. The same source lists him as Director of the Digital Area at FC Barcelona from 2010 to 2020. He also received the Founder Institute's Highest Rated Mentor in Europe award in 2012.
The Royal European Academy of Doctors says he is a business angel in more than 70 startups, including Housfy, Exoticca, Paack, Glovo and LingoKids. Tracxn lists Glovo as a portfolio exit. It dates his first angel activity to 2018, through Eelp. Other sources name the Spanish e-sports training program Gamestry as an early seed investment.
Tracxn also records Cafler (Seed, September 2023) and Buo.so (Seed, June 2022). Investment counts differ by database, so this page uses the 70-plus figure from the Academy only.
Lee is a named investor in QuiverAI's $8.3M seed round, announced in February 2026 and led by Andreessen Horowitz. QuiverAI describes itself as an AI lab and product company focused on vector design and visual code generation.
He is also a named business angel in Mafer AI's €2M pre-seed round, reported by press on May 29, 2026. Mafer AI is a Barcelona startup building an AI operating system for R&D teams in formulation industries. The round was backed by Kfund, 4Founders Capital, Masia and Lavanda Ventures, among others.
Public profiles show a Spain-centred angel portfolio with some US and other international exposure. His recent AI deals are at pre-seed and seed. Lee has not publicly stated a check size or a formal thesis that we could find, so none is given here. Compass List describes his focus as Spanish startups. He also works through Galdana Ventures and, per the Academy, Barlon Capital, a firm investing in emerging brands in Spain.
