About Kaspar Tiri
Kaspar Tiri is an Estonian entrepreneur. He co-founded Ready Player Me in 2014. It is a cross-game avatar platform that his personal site says is used by more than 150,000 developers. The site says the company raised $72M from investors including a16z and Plural. Tracxn lists the early company under the name Wolf3D, based in Tallinn.
His site says Ready Player Me was acquired by Netflix in 2025. Of his own activity now, he writes that he builds things for fun, angel invests and helps founders figure things out. Crunchbase lists him as based in New York and shows a BA in Business Administration from Estonian Business School (2014 to 2017).
His Substack bio describes him as an active angel investor in Web3, gaming and AI. Crunchbase shows five personal investments, but only some are visible publicly. The ones we could confirm are Sera (2024 and 2025), Creem (2026) and NFTPort (2022, listed by CoinCarp). He often invests alongside other Estonian founders, such as Bolt's Markus Villig and his Ready Player Me co-founder Timmu Tõke.
In September 2026, Creem raised a €5M seed round led by Inovo VC. Practica Capital and Antler also joined, and Tiri was among the participating angels. Creem builds billing and monetisation infrastructure for AI-native software companies. Its total funding is now €7M.
He also took part in the pre-seed round of Sera, an Estonian AI sales-agent startup that generates lead lists. BalticVC reported that round in November 2024, and it was led by Specialist VC. Tracxn lists a later Sera seed round on 3 October 2025 at $1.76M. Crunchbase also shows him as an investor in that round.
Public sources point to early-stage rounds, from pre-seed to seed. They point to AI, gaming and Web3 as his areas of interest, with software and enterprise tools in the AI deals we found. The two AI investments confirmed here are both in Estonian companies, and Tracxn lists Estonia as his investment geography. We found no public statement from him on check size or on what he looks for in a pitch.
