About Lukas Speiser
Lukas Speiser is based in Zurich. According to a 2021 interview with Organisator, he built and sold one of Switzerland's largest promotion agencies before studying finance at the University of Zurich. After graduating he worked four years in investment banking, serving institutional clients in equities, derivatives and bonds.
He then co-founded the Swiss online retailer Amorana with Alan Frei and served as CEO. Crunchbase lists him as founder and CEO from 2012. His LinkedIn says he left the CEO role at the end of 2022 and now describes himself as a co-founder of Amorana and an investor.
He is an investor on the Swiss TV show Die Höhle der Löwen Schweiz, the Swiss version of Shark Tank. His LinkedIn also lists Swiss Allstar Basketball Camp as his current experience.
Crunchbase shows 6 personal investments. Tracxn dates his first startup investment to Testmate's seed round in October 2021, followed by finddependent in July 2022. EasyVC also lists dunatura (a seed round in March 2022), Cleveron and Sleepiz among his investments. He usually appears alongside other investors. Tracxn shows him as a co-investor with Roland Brack in finddependent and with Rhia Ventures and NEXT VENTURES in Testmate.
The one AI-related round we found is NextBusiness, which closed in June 2026. Crunchbase describes NextBusiness as a company making tools for founders in Switzerland, including the AI-first business software infinity.swiss. Crunchbase and the Lounge deals desk list the round as a $3M seed. CB Insights calls it a $3M Series A led by EquityPitcher, with Tenity, Backbone Ventures and angels including Speiser. CB Insights says the product targets autonomous bookkeeping for Swiss SMEs. We found no other public AI investments.
Public databases put him at pre-seed and seed. Tracxn lists his portfolio companies as Swiss and his top sectors as fintech and healthtech. EasyVC lists healthcare, medical devices and biotech, with the EU and MENA as target regions. Shizune lists health care, SaaS and retail, with Switzerland and Germany as target geographies. These tags come from third-party databases, not from statements by Speiser. We found no public check size or stated investment thesis.
