What we shipped today

86 new members joined since the last post, and we shipped points for comments and upvotes, a written daily digest, and a public Revenue Leaderboard.

• Points for comments and upvotes: Each comment earns 5 points and each upvote you give earns 1, never on your own content, and removing an upvote takes the point back. You will see the points on the comment box, on feed cards, in the left rail and at the top of the leaderboard.
• Written daily digest: Each day's digest email now opens with a note from me, then the top 3 stories with why they matter for founders, up to 7 quick hits, and a line of context on the AI Index.
• Public Revenue Leaderboard and weekly posts: The Revenue Leaderboard is now open to everyone, with CSV export still for paid members. There are also weekly posts on AI funding, exits, and revenue and ARR changes.
• Lounge is open: The home page no longer asks for a password, so anyone can visit lounge.ai and see the community.
• Real names only: Fake names are refused at sign-up and in Settings. We fill in real names from LinkedIn, Google or GitHub when we can, and ask anyone still missing one to add it.
• Load more on the home feed: It now keeps working when things are busy or right after an update, instead of stopping for good.
• Clearer locations: Profiles and cards show City, ST, USA for US members and City, Country elsewhere, like Tampere, Finland. The "local time" label is gone.
• Titles and companies in more places: Band pages, the map list, and followers and following lists now show each member's title and company. Directory cards no longer show "0 projects".
• Member groups for everyone: The WhatsApp, Slack and Telegram groups on the Chat page are open to every member, not just paid ones.
• Photos and faster onboarding: Members without a profile photo now get one found for them. Members who stalled during onboarding get their profile filled in from GitHub or LinkedIn and published, so they show up in the directory.
