The OECD's February 2026 brief finds AI firms took 61% ($258.7B) of the $427B of global VC in 2025, double their 2022 share; generative AI alone drew $35.3B. US firms attracted ~75% of AI VC value, US investors supplied 56% of it, and mega-deals over $100M now make up about 73% of AI investment while early-stage share declines.
