About Ami Luttwak
Ami Luttwak is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Wiz, the cloud security company. Wiz was founded in January 2020 by Assaf Rappaport, Yinon Costica, Roy Reznik and Luttwak, who had all previously founded Adallom. Wiz has been part of Google Cloud since March 2026, after Alphabet's $32 billion cash acquisition.
Before Wiz, Luttwak was CTO of Adallom, a cloud access security broker that Microsoft acquired in 2015. At Microsoft he was CTO of the Cloud Security Group and led product innovation for the Israel R&D group. That work covered incubation projects and acquisitions behind products such as Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel.
Earlier, he was an R&D team leader and group architect in the Israeli Intelligence Corps. According to Wiz's author page, he holds an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University.
