Anthropic reportedly plans public SEC filing on Oct. 26 for a mid-November IPO raising up to $100B
IFR, citing a person familiar with the process, reports that Anthropic plans to make its IPO documents public at the SEC on October 26 and hopes to list in mid-November. The company is reportedly seeking to raise up to $100 billion at a $2 trillion valuation. This week it met sell-side analysts at the banks involved in the offering to update them on its latest quarterly results, then met a group of institutional investors at its San Francisco headquarters. Bloomberg reported on October 1 that Anthropic was targeting a November listing before Thanksgiving. Anthropic has not confirmed the figures or dates, and timing and size could shift with markets that have been hit by AI financing worries this week. For builders and investors, a public Anthropic would add a transparent benchmark for frontier lab margins, compute commitments and enterprise demand. The S-1 should show how much revenue comes from API customers and coding tools and on what terms the company buys compute, details that shape pricing and supplier risk for every startup building on Claude.
