Overview | we help digitise and optimise Clinical Research in LMICs

Since this is an entrepreneurship forum, I will spare you the corporate synergy buzzwords, the stock photos of people pointing at glass whiteboards, and the claim that we are "disrupting" anything other than our own sleep schedules.

Instead, here is a quick look at what our group actually does:

  • nuvoteQ (The Enterprise Health Tech Core): We build cloud-based software for healthcare and clinical research. Put simply, we handle the regulated, high-stakes infrastructure that makes sure clinical trials and health data run strictly by the book. It’s immensely rewarding work, provided your idea of excitement is rigorous compliance, bulletproof data integrity, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks without losing your mind.
  • Scigenix.ai (The Applied AI Division): Our clinical data and AI consulting arm. While half the world is using AI to generate pictures of cats in space, we apply it to practical clinical data workflows, regulatory dossiers, and research efficiency. It turns out that getting sophisticated algorithms to satisfy strict regulatory standards is slightly harder than prompt engineering, but someone has to do it.
  • nuvoteQ Foundation (The Social Impact Arm): Our non-profit initiative dedicated to supporting clinical research infrastructure, capacity building, and pan-African health initiatives (including partnerships with EDCTP programs). It serves as a constant reminder of why we got into healthcare technology in the first place, and handily balances out the day-to-day chaos of commercial software delivery.

The Takeaway

We operate at the intersection of complex healthcare technology, artificial intelligence, and global health research, a space where moving fast and breaking things is actively discouraged, and doing things right the first time is the only option. If your startup operates in heavily regulated enterprise spaces, you have our sincere sympathy and a standing invitation to trade war stories.
