About Harry Stebbings
Harry Stebbings is a London-based venture capitalist and podcaster. He started The Twenty Minute VC podcast in 2015 while still a teenager. He enrolled to study law at King's College London but left after four weeks.
He worked at Atomico for about six months, leaving in May 2017. In 2018 he co-founded the seed firm Stride.VC with Fred Destin, and he stepped down as a partner in February 2021. He launched the 20VC fund in May 2020. Crunchbase also lists him as a Non-Executer Director of LBG Media.
PitchBook lists Stebbings as an active angel investor with 51 recorded investments. Crunchbase lists 44 portfolio companies under his personal profile. These counts differ by source and change as deals are reported.
An $8.3M micro seed fund that he began managing under the 20VC name in April 2020 backed Hopin, Clubhouse and RevenueCat. He has since moved from personal and micro-fund checks to larger institutional funds.
On the Lounge deals desk, Stebbings appears in the Entire Seed ($60M, July 2026) and the Zalos Seed ($3.6M, March 2026). Crunchbase and Caplight both list him or 20VC as a co-investor, not the lead, in these two rounds.
PitchBook also lists earlier AI-related seed-stage investments: Contextual AI (April 2023) and Context.ai (August 2023). 20VC led the seed round for Peec AI in July 2025.
20VC invests in Europe and North America. It backs companies from pre-seed through Series A. Reported sectors include software, fintech, AI, consumer and developer tools.
In October 2024, 20VC closed a $400M third fund, with $125M for seed and $275M for Series A. Press coverage of that fund reports pre-seed and seed checks of $100,000 to $3M and Series A checks of $5M to $15M. These figures describe the fund, not Stebbings's personal angel checks. He has not published a personal angel check size.
