Shiv Singh is CEO of Savvy Matters, which advises business teams on AI, marketing and organizational change. He is also co-founder of AI Trailblazers, a community of marketers, technologists, founders and investors working on AI. He is the author of Marketing with AI for Dummies and, earlier, Social Media Marketing for Dummies.

He was Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer at LendingTree, where Savvy Matters says his team served more than 100 million consumers and oversaw about $700 million in annual media spend. Before that he was SVP and General Manager at Expedia and SVP of Innovation Go-to-Market at Visa. Crunchbase also lists earlier roles as Global Head of Digital for PepsiCo Beverages and as Global Social Media Lead at Razorfish.

He serves on the board of United Rentals and is a Board Leadership Fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors. His bio says he is doing doctoral research on how agentic AI changes human expertise and accountability at work. Crunchbase's older profile also lists advisory roles at Buddy Media and other startups.

His own publications describe him as a private investor. His Substack bio reads: "C-Suite Advisor, 2x CMO, 3x Author, Investor, Public Board Member." Crunchbase lists him as an investor in the OptimizeGEO.ai seed round. We did not find a public list of his other angel investments, exits or fund affiliations, so none are listed here.

The OptimizeGEO.ai round is the AI investment we could confirm. OptimizeGEO.ai is a Los Altos, California company that builds a generative engine optimization platform. It helps brands measure and improve how they appear in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI and Copilot. Kirthiga Reddy and Saurabh Doshi co-founded it.

Trade coverage dated October 2026 lists Shiv Singh of Savvy Matters among the individual backers. Others named include Michael Kassan, Carolyn Everson and Mauria Finley. Adweek describes the round as a pre-Series A round led by Young Capital at an $80 million valuation. The amount raised and his individual check were not disclosed.

He has not published a thesis, check size or stage preference that we could find. His one confirmed deal is in an early-stage AI marketing and commerce company. His professional work is in marketing, brand, customer experience and AI-driven business change. Founders building in those areas are closest to his operating background. Geography and check size are not public.
