Meta's Muse is coming to Mac
Welcome back, Superhuman. Open weight AI just got a major win. Meta’s most powerful open model is now available, and can run on Apple’s Mac Studio thanks to an unexpected collaboration. Plus, an ex-OpenAI researcher says AI’s “black box” may be much easier to examine than previously thought.
Today: Bee rolls out two new AI wearables, how to build a personal decision simulator with Claude, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
TODAY IN AI
1. Meta brings its most capable open model to Apple’s Macs: Meta released the weights for Muse Spark Open, one of the strongest American-made open models currently available. The model is optimized to run on Apple silicon, but there’s one catch: you’ll need at least two top-spec M5 Ultra Mac Studios. The release signals a thawing relationship between the two rivals, with Meta’s Alexandr Wang telling Axios, “We're excited for mommy and daddy to be playing nice again.”
2. Goodfire researcher says neural networks may be cleaner than previously thought: In an informal research essay, Nick Cammarata — an interpretability researcher who previously worked at OpenAI — argues the field has been wrong about a core assumption: that models are nearly impossible to interpret directly. He says this is a misconception that stemmed from flawed architectures and weak inspection tools. If he’s right, it could help researchers better understand what models are doing before releasing them to the public.
3. Amazon’s Bee unveils two AI wearables that take notes for you:Bee Frontier, worn on your wrist, and Bee Eclipse, which attaches to your phone, are lightweight devices that summarize conversations to help you remember what matters most. On privacy, Amazon says a glowing light indicates when the device is listening and recordings are never stored long-term. They’re Bee’s first new devices since Amazon acquired it last year. Watch how they work.

How to build a personal decision simulator with Claude

Open Claude > Projects > New Project. Name it after the decision you’re working on.
In the Project, click the + in the knowledge section and upload any useful files, notes, budgets, comparison tables, or research.
Start a new chat inside the Project.
Sample Prompt: “Build an interactive decision simulator for [decision] comparing [Option A/B/C] across [criteria]. Use adjustable weights, 1–10 scores, and automatic weighted totals for each option. Add editable Best/Base/Worst Case scenarios and show how each changes the rankings. Highlight the leading option, key trade-offs, and the variables driving the result most.”
Open the Artifact Claude creates beside the conversation and check that the weights, scores, scenarios, and totals are interactive.
Adjust the sliders or input fields yourself to test different priorities, costs, risks, or assumptions and watch the ranking update.
Use the chat beside the Artifact to request any structural changes, such as adding a criterion, changing the scoring scale, or adding another scenario.
Reopen the finished simulator later from the Artifacts tab and reuse it with new decisions or updated assumptions.

🔎 Silicon Valley is on high espionage alert. An OpenAI employee was arrested for allegedly planting a hidden recording device in a conference room, James Bond-style. It’s not the first incident, and won’t be the last. Top labs have reportedly been warning employees to look out for friendly strangers, eavesdroppers, and even romantic partners.
Here are the major releases from this week:
💪Google rolled out its most powerful model: Gemini 4 Argon is now available to Pro and Ultra users in Gemini, Ultra subscribers in Antigravity, and the API. The Gemini team published 5 practical tips to help you get the most out of it.
🔥 Meta’s hot streak continued: Meta launched itself back near the top of frontier AI’s leaderboards this week with Muse Wonder and Wonder Full.
🏠Apple debuted its line of smart home products, led by the HomeView: The HomeView is Apple’s hub for its new suite of smart home products that includes a video doorbell, temperature sensors, cameras, and more.
🐟Fish Audio dropped a highly realistic voice model that takes orders: The lab’s Drama 3 lets you describe exactly how every single word should sound, and its release video ended the week with over 12M views.
